International Black Sea University
International Black Sea University was established in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1995. It was inaugurated by the second President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze and the former Prime Minister of Turkey Tansu Ciller in accordance with Cabinet Decree and Licensing. The inauguration given by the Ministry of Education of Georgia.
International Black Sea University aims to train Georgian and foreign students in scientific, technical and professional fields of study, and to use these studies in fields of pure and applied research to contribute to the economic and social imperatives of Georgia and other countries.
The languages of instruction are English and Georgian.

- A clear copy of the school’s graduation certificate (marks sheet).

Admission’s Status :
After you apply, within 7 working days of fulfilling the application requirements, We will send you an official letter of Admission Request from International Black Sea University (IBSU).
Based on the signed offer letter, The admissions office (AdmissionOfficGe.com) will start the registration procedure.
The procedures for translation, notarization, recognition and registration take about 2-4 weeks.
The university does not have a deadline for admission.
Students can gain admission to join the Fall Academic Session (September Batch) or Spring Academic Session (February/March Batch).
Once the invited applicant submits personal identification and educational documents to International Black Sea University, The documents will be submitted to the National Center for Education Quality Improvement and to the Ministry of Education and Science for Ministry registration. Once the registration procedure is successfully completed, The university will inform the applicant of the successful registration to study in Georgia.

International Black Sea University participates in the Bologna Process and is recognized in both Europe and the United States.
IBSU is accredited by the Georgia Ministry of Education and Science. It is accredited by the National Education Quality Improvement Center.
The university is a member of ENIC-NARIC (ENIC – European Network of Information Centers in the European Region, NARIC – National Academic Information Centers of the European Union).
MCI Acknowledgment:
International Black Sea University has recently obtained accreditation – Medical Council of India (MCI), which means that the University of Georgia is listed among the foreign universities recommended by the Indian Medical Council.
Ministry of Education (Iran) Accreditation System :
On October 2, 2017, International Black Sea University received official accreditation from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
International Black Sea University has received Group D accreditation, which means that the Iranian state recognizes all diplomas of specialization and program in the bachelor’s degree in health care.

Professional services :
Career development of students and alumni is the main concern of the Student Employment Support Office at Georgia Tbilisi University. That is why it is distinguished by a high employment index: 90% of graduates are employed.
The office regularly provides training to students to improve skills needed for career development. In order to promote student employment, job fairs are held on campus several times a year, where leading companies and representatives of the public sector participate.
Student Affairs :
The Student Affairs Center encourages the arrangement and establishment of student clubs, encourages club activities and the realization of student initiatives. Organizes events in order to ensure students’ sparkling lives.

Currently, there are no IBSU hostels on campus for international students. However, flats and flats are cheap around the perimeter of the university.
